Mason & Hanger Summer Interns Tour Construction Site of NASA’s new Flight Dynamics Research Facility (FDRF)
Our summer interns toured the construction site of NASA’s new Flight Dynamics Research Facility (FDRF) at the Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia.
As part of the facility upgrades, the new wind tunnel, called the Flight Dynamics Research Facility (FDRF), will provide researchers with a highly versatile and cost-effective vertical wind tunnel for conducting research and technology development that supports diverse NASA missions, including aeronautics research, space exploration, and science.
Lexington Office Summer Interns Tour KYARNG
Mason & Hanger’s summer interns in the Lexington, KY office toured the Army Aviation Support Facility at the Boone National Guard Center in Frankfort, KY. The facility, designed by Mason & Hanger in 2015, includes a maintenance hangar for 10 UH-60 Blackhawk and UH-72 Lakota helicopters with supporting admin and shop spaces, and a storage hangar for 6 additional helicopters.
