Day & Zimmermann (D&Z) completed our first solar project in 2008 when Mason & Hanger, our architecture and engineering division, designed a 120 KW roof-mounted system for the U.S. Mission to the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. In 2021 D&Z made the strategic decision to begin constructing solar as an EPC firm. This has led to our selection as the primary contractor building a total of 200 MW in West Virginia starting in 2023.
