Working with U.S. Defense Industry partners SOC assisted in Ukraine’s efforts to defend their nation against the Russian invasion. SOC served a critical role in providing shipping and logistics for the mission-critical delivery of donated vehicle parts to the Government of Ukraine, supporting maintenance and ongoing sustainment of Ukraine’s tactical vehicle fleet, including High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWV or HUMVEE).  We continue to support the mission in Ukraine with teams, resources, supply channels, and requirements in place — also in-country.

Award-Winning Sustainable Design

U.S. Embassy Campus in Pristina, Kosovo

Mason & Hanger provided mechanical, electrical and site design at the U.S. Embassy Campus in Pristina, Kosovo. As an award-winning project with numerous sustainability features that integrate energy and water systems, the site utilizes harvested rainwater and treated effluent to serve as a heat sink for a central ground-source heat pump system. The campus is operating at nearly net zero for annual water use and is almost 40% more energy efficient than typical, code-compliant buildings. This project received LEED® Gold certification by the U.S. Green Building Council. The project won Grand Awards for engineering excellence from both ACEC USA & ACEC Virginia.
