To All Day & Zimmermann Team Members,
The recent attacks in Israel have caused immense suffering and have once again brought to the forefront the urgent need for lasting peace and stability in the region. I’m deeply saddened and moved by the by horrific events happening in Israel, and the ongoing war in Ukraine, and I want to extend my heartfelt sympathies to all of those families and individuals affected. Acts of terror, oppression and the loss of innocent lives is tragic and should be condemned. This is not about specific groups, ideology, religion, or politics. We stand with those who work to protect freedom and democracy around the world.
Our unwavering support has, and always will be, with those who work to keep people safe, and those on the front lines of responding when it’s required – especially our teams who are there protecting American interests. Although I understand their jobs often require them to take on dangerous assignments, it doesn’t make it any easier when the stark realities of their jobs hit this close to home. My thoughts are with all our employees in these regions and their loved ones here at home. I’m incredibly proud of the teams we have working to protect freedom and democracy globally, and our company’s long-standing commitment to this work, and I hope you are too.
I recognize the weight of these events, unfolding before us, and seemingly with no end, can be stressful to all of our employees and their families. Please prioritize your well-being, and seek help if needed, especially if you have concerns about friends or loved ones who may be affected.
Lastly, I believe it’s important to work towards unity and understanding. We are living in a time of great division, but things like our shared values, listening with empathy, and the support we show for one another can go a long way in bridging the gap of our differences.
Please take care,
Hal Yoh
