Day & Zimmermann’s Maintenance and Construction division welcomes Michael Benham to our executive team. Michael will serve as Vice President, Canadian Operations, effective January 15. In his new role, Michael will oversee Canadian operations while integrating strategic growth opportunities within the Canadian markets.
Michael’s extensive background includes 25 years in the nuclear and energy sectors. He brings significant experience with engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) project management, union building trade negotiations, and managing trades.
“We are thrilled to welcome Michael to D&Z and optimistic about the positive impact he will have as we continue growing our Canadian operations team. Michael brings not only a strong professional background and network in the Canadian market, but also a shared commitment to our core values of safety and integrity,” said Bill Cronin, president, Canadian operations.
Michael’s career began as a technician in the field, and he advanced to assume numerous executive leadership roles, including General Manager of Alberta-based Acuren Nuclear Services and, most recently, President and Board Chair of an Ontario-based, indigenous-owned new business venture—both of which Michael helped start.
Welcome to Day & Zimmermann, Michael!
