Jameel Rush Director of Organizational Development Recognized

PHILADELPHIA, PA – March 28, 2016 – Day & Zimmermann (D&Z), the century-old, family-owned provider of construction & engineering, staffing and defense solutions for leading corporations and governments around the world, congratulates Jameel Rush, Director of Organizational Development, for being selected by the Philadelphia Business Journal as a 2016 40 Under 40 honoree.

The 40 Under 40 Awards honor local individuals who are rising stars under the age of 40 who have demonstrated business success, community involvement, leadership ability and influence. These honorees will be profiled in a special supplement of the 5/13/16 edition of the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Jameel joined Day & Zimmermann in January 2016 as Director of Organizational Development. In this role Jameel partners with D&Z’s business units in all aspects of talent and organizational development. He is currently running the First Line Leader Training Program at Day & Zimmermann where he assists managers in topics ranging from managing conflict to talent acquisition. Jameel spent more than eight years at Aramark in a multitude of talent management and human resource roles, most recently serving as the Director of Global Diversity and Inclusion.

Jameel received his Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and Development from St. Joseph’s University and is a graduate from Temple University with a Bachelor in Business Administration focusing on Human Resource Management and Management Information Systems. He has earned human resource certifications from Villanova University, his Professional in Human Resources Certification (PHR) from the Human Resource Certification Institute, and he is a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). Jameel serves on the board for the Philadelphia Society for Human Resource Management, People for People Inc., the Graduate Advisory Board for Peirce College, and was named as one of Philadelphia’s Top 55 Connectors and Keepers by Leadership Philadelphia in 2014.
