Day & Zimmermann Employees Donate Nearly $133K to United Way in Annual Campaign

PHILADELPHIA, PA--(Marketwired - Nov 10, 2014) - Day & Zimmermann (D&Z), the century-old, family-owned provider of construction & engineering, staffing and defense solutions for leading corporations and governments around the world, is pleased to announce that in October 2014 its employees raised nearly $133,000 for the United Way as a part of the first-ever multi-location D&Z United Way Workplace Campaign. This expanded partnership is an example of D&Z's continued commitment to its core value of integrity, and its desire to support the communities in which it serves.

The United Way Workplace Campaign challenged D&Z employees to raise funds to support the United Way's efforts surrounding specific community issues. Our employees raised funds in support of United States veterans, education, financial stability and health. The goal of the campaign is to increase awareness and give back to our local communities.

Employees from ten different locations across the nation participated in the campaign. These offices included branches of Day & Zimmermann including headquarters; Yoh; Mason & Hanger; and SOC. Each office went above and beyond to drive support for the United Way.
