Day & Zimmermann to provide full-service maintenance and modification services for PSEG’s Salem and Hope Creek nuclear stations.
PHILADELPHIA, PA — November 12, 2012— Day & Zimmermann (D&Z), the nation’s leading power plant maintenance and modifications contractor, announced today that it has been awarded a new five-year contract by PSEG Nuclear to provide full-service outage management, power plant maintenance, and repairs/modifications to their Salem and Hope Creek nuclear stations in Hancock’s Bridge, NJ.
D&Z‘s relationship with PSEG Nuclear began in 1997 with the Salem plant restart project. As a full-service contractor, D&Z is uniquely positioned to meet PSEG’s nuclear plant maintenance requirements and provide highly skilled and qualified craft management and labor representing all of the building trades to all three units of this single-site plant.
