Daniel J. Ross has been appointed to the position of vice president, corporate development, reporting directly to Hal Yoh, CEO, Day & Zimmermann. As the vice president, corporate development, his responsibilities include the oversight of Day & Zimmermann’s mergers & acquisitions, government affairs, and assisting Day & Zimmermann’s leadership with the planning and development of strategy, which includes the company-wide strategic planning process.
Dan first joined Day & Zimmermann as a college intern while attending St. Joseph’s University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He rejoined the Company in 2008, as the Director of Talent Acquisition, leading the Company’s recruiting organization. From there, Dan progressed through a series of increasingly responsible Human Resources roles in Yoh, Corporate and ECM, where he most recently served as Vice President, Human Resources, supporting Mike McMahon, President – ECM as a member of ECM’s senior leadership team and the HR Leadership Team.
Prior to joining D&Z, Dan worked at Toll Brothers and Aerotek in a number of Operations, Sales and Recruiting positions. Dan’s collaborative style and strong business acumen will serve him well in his new role, as they have done throughout his career.
