Congratulations to the 2024 Day & Zimmermann STEM or Trade School Scholarship Recipients

This year, we received and reviewed 10 applications for the Day & Zimmermann STEM or Trade School Scholarship from students whose parents are employed throughout the Company. Each application served as a representation of the well-rounded students from families across our organization who have worked hard and given serious consideration to their careers and their futures.

While we were greatly impressed with the qualifications of all of the students who applied, I am pleased to announce that we have carefully selected the following individuals, chosen on merit-based factors, to receive a Day & Zimmermann scholarship:

• Jazmyn Hernandez, daughter of Arlene Hernandez, Law. Jazmyn will be attending the University of Central Florida in the fall and intends to pursue a degree in Environmental Engineering.
• Kaavya Paladugu, daughter of Sarat Paladugu, Corporate IT.  Kaavya will be attending Cornell University in the fall and intends to pursue a degree in Computer Science/Data Science/Artificial Intelligence.
• Lily Schimschal, daughter of Ann Schimschal, Yoh.  Lily will be attending the University of Colorado in the fall and intends to pursue a degree in Aerospace Engineering.
• Zachary Davis, son of John Davis, M&C.  Zachary attends Robert Morris University and is pursuing a degree in Environmental Science.
• Jenna Hentzel, daughter of Dave Hentzel, DZMG - AO.  Jenna will be attending Iowa State University in the fall and intends to pursue a degree in Animal Science.
• William Mellis, son of Jon Mellis, Law.  William will be attending Emory University in the fall and intends to pursue a degree in Quantitative Sciences/Data Science.

Congratulations to these talented students on their achievements. Recipients, as well as their parents or guardians, have been notified.
