Kathleen King
Senior VP Finance and CFO
Kathleen King is senior vice president of finance and chief financial officer for Day & Zimmermann. In this role, she oversees the company’s overall strategic development process, and leads the corporate development and government affairs teams. She is a member of the D&Z Leadership Council and reports directly to the CEO.
Kathleen joined the company in 1999 in finance, and has supported multiple groups and business units since then. She held a series of positions with increasing management and oversight responsibility in finance, strategy and operations. Prior to this role, she served as Senior Vice President, Enterprise Solutions, Yoh, where she lead the company’s operation that provided Managed Staffing Provider (MSP) Services, National Accounts and Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) Services, and National Account Staffing globally. In that role she launched the company’s Total Talent Solutions brand, DZConneX. Prior to Yoh, she served as Chief Financial Officer of the company’s SOC business unit, and held the position of Vice President and Controller, for the Munitions and Government group.
Kathleen holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and management from Park University and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA).
