Bill Hamm of Day & Zimmermann Elected to Committee of Seventy Board of Directors
Philadelphia, Pa.—February 19, 2008— Day & Zimmermann, a nationally recognized provider of products and outsourcing solutions for government and commercial customers, today announced that Bill Hamm, senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary, has been elected to the board of directors of the Committee of Seventy, a Philadelphia-based non-profit organization.
The Committee of Seventy is a non-partisan organization conducting a permanent campaign to improve the Philadelphia region by “demanding ethical conduct of public officials, promoting government efficiency, educating citizens and safeguarding elections.” Known as the city’s dependable political watchdog, the group was formed over 100 years ago to fight corruption and improve the political system. As a member of the board, Hamm will draw on his expertise and experience at Day & Zimmermann to help further the Committee’s overarching goal of making government in the region more efficient, fair and transparent.
