Day & Zimmermann Security Services Opens New Office in Connecticut
The office in Meriden is the company's 20th and will serve companies across the state
Philadelphia, Pa.—February 25, 2008— Day & Zimmermann Security Services, a leading provider of managed security services, today announced it is opening an office in Meriden, Conn. The office is the company's 5th in New England and 20th in the country. The acquisition of Reliable Security in 2007 expanded Day & Zimmermann's New England presence, which they are continuing with the addition of this new office. Day & Zimmermann has hired approximately 25 security professionals for the work that will be done through this location.

The office will offer unarmed and armed guards, as well as patrol and alarm response services. Day & Zimmermann will be serving commercial customers in the area, particularly corporate, high tech, pharmaceutical, chemical and educational facilities, as well as government facilities. The Meriden office will be managed by Val Velasquez, who brings 11 years of security experience and 13 years of military experience to Day & Zimmermann.
