New Company Offers Full-Service Maintenance & Modification Resources to Electric Utilities in North America

Day & Zimmermann NPS® and Black & McDonald Limited, have announced a new joint venture company, North American Power Partners, which was formed to provide an expanded the service delivery capability to electric utilities across the North American continent.

This new joint venture draws on the eight-year success of Canadian Base Operations, an ongoing joint venture between the two companies and builds on a history of parallel company cultures and client-focused attitudes.

The North American Power Partners management team includes Curt Jurgens, Vice President, Operations, Brian Hartz, Vice President, Business Development, and Charles Mummert, Manager of Projects, all from Day & Zimmermann NPS®, and Larry Macdonald, Vice President, Operations, Steve Corkum, General Manager, Andrew Grieve, Director, Business Development, and Walt Tomkiewicz, Manager of Projects, all from Black & McDonald.

North American Power Partners' U.S. headquarters are located in Lancaster, PA and the Canadian headquarters are located in Scarborough, Ontario. From these locations, North American Power Partners delivers proven performance in all aspects of operations, including health and safety, quality assurance, cost control and project scheduling.

North American Power Partners are currently performing on contracts at the Pickering Nuclear Power Station and the Darlington Nuclear Power Station, both of which are Ontario Power Generation nuclear facilities.
