Day & Zimmermann NPS® Wins Multi-Year Contract from
LANCASTER, PA — July 20, 2005 — Day & Zimmermann NPS® (DZNPS), one of the nation's leading union contractors performing power plant maintenance and modification services nationwide, has been awarded a multi-year contract with Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) for maintenance and modifications at their Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant in Avila Beach, CA. The Diablo Canyon Power Plant consists of two 1,087-MW Westinghouse PWR's that have been in commercial operation since the mid-1980's.
As PG&E's maintenance partner under this new contract, DZNPS will assume a key role assigned to execute a variety of ongoing plant maintenance tasks and plant modifications.
