Cartmell Joins Day & Zimmermann Advisory Board
PHILADELPHIA, PA, December 9, 2005 – Today Day & Zimmermann announced that Elizabeth (Liza) B. Cartmell, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee, Please Touch Museum of Philadelphia, has joined Day & Zimmermann's Board of Advisors.
As a retired ARAMARK executive, Liza brings to the Board a wealth of knowledge and experience in the services business sector. In her 15 years with ARAMARK, Liza held several prominent positions, including Group President of Education Services, Group President of Sports & Entertainment, President of Stadiums, Arenas and Amphitheaters, and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. In particular, Liza's time at ARAMARK was focused on accelerating growth both through organic sales development, as well as through acquisitions. In her current role at the Please Touch Museum, Liza is actively involved in moving Philadelphia's children's museum to Memorial Hall in Fairmount Park.
Elizabeth earned her bachelor's degree in economics, Phi Beta Kappa, from Wellesley College and her MBA in Finance, Beta Gamma Sigma, from Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
