Larry Ames is president of Day & Zimmermann's Government Services business. Mr. Ames has more than 20 years of experience in operations, engineering, sales and executive leadership positions.

Mr. Ames joined Day & Zimmermann in 2003 as president of Day & Zimmermann Services. Prior to his current role, Mr. Ames was president and CEO of Defense Support Services, a Day & Zimmermann joint-venture providing high-quality field services to the Department of Defense through more than 8,000 employees on five continents.

Mr. Ames holds a bachelor of science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He was a Captain in the U.S. Army and a graduate of the Ranger and Airborne service schools.
