Hal Yoh is chairman and chief executive officer of Day & Zimmermann. Mr. Yoh was appointed to this position in 1998, after serving for four years as the president of Day & Zimmermann's Process & Industrial division responsible for the design and construction of plants for clients in the chemical, industrial manufacturing, food, beverage and consumer product industries. He began his career in 1983 with Westinghouse Electric Corporation as a design engineer and project manger. Over the last 22 years, Mr. Yoh has held a series of leadership roles within the company. Mr. Yoh is a strong believer in civic and community service. He is an executive committee member, board member, and past chair (2002-2003) of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce; a board member of WHYY (a public television and radio broadcast station); and a member of numerous boards and committees for Duke University. For his leadership and dedication to charitable causes, Yoh is the 2005 recipient of the American Heart Association's Heart of Philadelphia Award. Mr. Yoh holds a bachelor of science degree in Mechanical Engineering and Material Sciences from Duke University and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a recipient of the Duke University's Distinguished Young Alumnus Award-Engineering. |
